Messages Of Victory Through Faith and Obedience

The following Heart To Heart post was shared on the ladies’ private website this morning by Amy, one of the FAM Fellowship members. And since it’s such an important and relevant topic as we stand for the restoration of our marriages or face other difficult and challenging situations and circumstances in our lives, I thought it would be helpful and appreciated here as well. So be blessed and encouraged!

A Message For Us All

This morning I got online and decided to read the “Where Eagles Gather” section on Bill and Marsha Burn’s’ website for yesterday. Well, I wish I had read it yesterday! I feel these words are meant for us all, so I wanted to share it here.

From Glenn Jackson:
In every circumstance and situation, it is not so much the “physical outcome” that is important, but rather having the knowledge [assurance] in your heart that you have been obedient to Me in “all” things. Satan will always attempt to lead My children into an area of presumption through condemnation, attempting to compel them to act out and beyond My wisdom. It is for this reason that every aspect of the walk of My children must have its source in the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. For from that place Satan has no ground [opportunity] to work against them with.

Regardless of the so-called “struggles” of My people – as they toil in My will and in My Name – there is always a deep satisfaction [divine assurance] that fills and strengthens the heart of those who walk in obedience to Me.

From Ronald Powell:
The Answer Is on The Way – March 28, 2007

Isa 40:29-31 He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

My Children,
I am your burden bearer, I still deliver you from every snare of the fowler. There is only one needful thing, faith in the only living God! You can be assured that I still remain your answer. Though you wait, I will surely come and meet thy every need. My children, I hold the times and seasons in My own hand, My times are not your times. For I am the tender of the vine! Patiently possess your souls as you wait. I am at work accomplishing My full will. I am at work even when you can’t discern this with your human eyes. Behind what may appear to be of no interest, value, or consequence is a jubilant force readying My work in the invisible realm. As you wait I will do a unique work within the hearts of each one of you. Patiently wait as I perfect those things which concern you. Stand firm against every contrary and discouraging voice of the faithless. Hold fast to that which I have already promised you and do not waver. Do not lose heart, your answer is on the way.

I know that these words ring so true for each of us as we stand. For me alone I know that even though I KNOW that God is working and moving in a powerful way in my marriage and my husband, I still need to be reminded constantly of that and I felt that these words were a wonderful reminder. I know we all have our lazy days or crazy days where we don’t open up the bible until 11pm or we fall short on our prayer time. I know I do! But we just cannot make that a habit. We are praying for our spouses’ souls and this morning I realized that (husband’s name omitted) soul and restoration to our Lord is more important than anything else I need to get done during the day. God wants to know we are serious about this and I’m ready to show Him.

Amy, thank you so very much for your very encouraging words. As humans, it is so common for us to grow faint and get weary while we wait. Especially if we have waited for some time. But if we are believers of the Word, as all of us here should be, we can take God’s work to the bank. God said, “Hold fast to that which I have already promised you and do not waver. Do not lose heart, your answer is on the way.” Now those are some very specific directions that we are being told to follow. God is telling us here to hang tight, I have you covered. And what is one of the promises He gave us? Zechariah 9:12 is a fantastic one that all of us as standers should hold on to. It says, “Return to your fortress, O prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.” Ladies and gentlemen, this is saying, we are not just going to get back what we had but we are going to get back twice as much!! To God be all the glory. God bless and remember to hold on. Love Janet

Right on, right on Amy. I too wish I had read that yesterday! It’s just too easy to think that if something doesn’t seem to be resolved in the natural realm, then it isn’t answered in the spirit realm but that is not true! This is an awesome word which speaks powerfully and personally to me. I am so glad that you were faithful to seek out what God has to say about our circumstances. Hugs, Alex

This is so encouraging to me too. Thank you, Amy, for sharing. It has such instruction for us to not grow weary and faint and to just remain faithful to what HE has promised us all. I like the part about our answer is on the way. I think that everything gets harder when we tend to look for the sign – some sign that God is working. HE IS working and our suddenlies will come. We have just gotten so used to seeing and then believing, and now we need to BELIEVE and then we will SEE. It is hard to wait, but the reward will be so great. We will all have so much better relationships than we could even imagine. I get Goosebumps thinking about it. Hold on and keep sharing these great Words. Thanks and you are a blessing to us all. Diane
