We thank You, Lord, for godly mothers, without whom we would not be.
And who everything we do, through their eyes of love they see.
We thank You, Lord, for godly mothers and all the sacrifices they make.
Most of which they do for our sake.
We thank You, Lord, for godly mothers who keep us from alarm.
And do their best to protect us from harm.
We thank You, Lord, for godly mothers and the support they give us.
Even for the times when they make such a fuss.
We thank You, Lord, for godly mothers and the encouragement they provide.
And for their hope and expectations too great to hide.
We thank You, Lord, for godly mothers, who leave no need unmet.
And for the awesome example they set.
We thank You, Lord, for godly mothers and every prayer they pray.
As they seek Your guidance from day to day.
And we thank You, Lord, for godly mothers and their unconditional love.
Which we know was sent by You from heaven above.
